Reception area – room automation
Lighting control
Presence detectors (hotel card switches) help save energy by automatically switching the lighting off when the room
is not occupied. A brightness sensor incorporated in the presence detector helps when switching and dimming
lights, ensuring that the room is always optimally illuminated, using as little as possible artificial light.
Remote control
Integration of a webserver facilitates remote control and monitoring on a PC or smartphone via webbrowser.

description
Indoor air quality control
The CO
forwards its value to the ventilation controller which
controls the proportion of fresh air.
Demand-dependent supply air temperature
control
The primary ventilation controller (RMU) controls the
supply air temperature and the volumetric air flow
depending on the room's demand for heat/cooling
energy.
Constant light control
Constant light control maintains the room lighting at a
constant brightness level by adding artificial light to
daylight. Brightness is automatically and continuously
adapted by dimming up/down the lighting groups.
Offset adjustments allow the configuration of constant
light control with only one presence detector. Manual
switching and dimming is made possible via the
pushbutton. In this case, lighting control is stopped
and the brightness level in the room is maintained as
long as presence is detected.
Presence-dependent lighting control
The presence detector (UP258E21) allows up to 4
lighting groups to be switched and controlled and
detects presence within its range. If persons are
detected, lighting is switched on at the required
brightness level. When persons leave the room, the
lighting is switched off again or dimmed. To extend
the monitored range, a master-slave configuration can
be implemented.

Remote control and monitoring
Using a webbrowser, the following parameters can be
monitored via webserver (OZW):
·
Current temperatures
·
Current temperature setpoints
·
Current operating modes
·
Ventilation plant parameters (temperatures,
errors, alarms)
If required, the following parameters can be
changed:
·
The operating modes
·
The temperature setpoints
·
The time program
·
Ventilation plant parameters (setpoints, op-
erating modes)
Using a webbrowser, all rooms can be controlled and
monitored via webserver (IP viewer). The following
parameters can be viewed/changed, if required:
·
The state of lighting (on/off)
·
Status information of lamps, such as error
messages or the number of operating hours
Display of energy efficiency
The OZW772 webserver is able to display the HVAC
system's energy efficiency, which reminds the user if
– from the point of view of energy efficiency – settings
beyond the permitted limits were made. If nonefficient
operating states occur, the user is notified via e-mail
or smartphone app. The limit values can be set by the
user.
