Safety Tether Operation

CAUTION: To ensure patient safety, it is vital that the safety tether is attached.
The Figure 3.11.
The safety tether is factory installed, but a few simple adjustments may be required to ensure
proper operation during device usage. The tether strap is elastic, but its maximum stretched
length is about 25 inches.
The safety tether (the rippled elastic cord) attaches to the center of the patient
harness bar.
