Changing Network Settings From the Web Page

Using IEEE802.1X

Your printer supports IEEE802.1X authentication.
Be sure to configure the printer and your
computer before performing the following steps.

Configuring Your Printer for
IEEE802.1X
„ Using PEAP

Access the printer's web page and log in
as the administrator.

Select [Admin Setup].

Select [Network] > [IEEE802.1X].

Select [Authenticate Server] and then
click [Import].

Enter the file name of the CA certificate
and then click [OK].
Specify a certificate issued by the certificate
authority from which the RADIUS server obtained
a certificate. A PEM, DER, and PKCS#7 file can be
imported.

Click [Return to Previous Page].

Select [Enable] for [IEEE802.1X].

Select [PEAP] for [EAP Type].

Enter a user name in [EAP User].

Enter a password in [EAP Password].

Click [Submit].
The network card reboots to enable the new
settings.

When the standby screen appears on the
printer, turn off the printer.

„ Using EAP-TLS

Access the printer's web page and log in
as the administrator.

Select [Admin Setup].

Select [Network] > [IEEE802.1X].

Select [Not use SSL/TLS Certificate
for EAP authentication] and then click
[Import].

Enter the file name of the certificate.
Only a PKCS#12 file can be imported.

Enter the password of the certificate and
then click [OK].

Click [Return to Previous Page].

Select [Authenticate Server] and then
click [Import].

Enter the file name of the CA certificate
and then click [OK].
