Activating Morphing Function
1.
Press the [MORPHING] button to activate the function.
Its indicator lights.
Selecting the AUTO Mode
1.
Press and hold the [MORPHING] button until the
MORPHING page appears:

Set the "Auto" mode. See "Moving the Cursor and Setting
Parameter Values" (p. 23).

Select the time value you want for the movement of the
draw faders: Slow, Medium and Fast.
Selecting the PEDAL Mode
1.
Press and hold the [MORPHING] button.

Set the "PEDAL" mode. See "Moving the Cursor and
Setting Parameter Values" (p. 23).
The display changes as follow:

function act.

the draw faders to set the desired "From"
position.

Moving the expression pedal from up to down, the draw
faders will move gradually from the "FROM" to the "TO"
combination.

The morphing's settings can be saved in the memories. See
"Working with the Memories" (p. 47).

Applying Vibrato/Chorus Effect

The S9 has a vibrato effect and a chorus effect to enrich your
performances. The vibrato and chorus system consists of six settings, V1,
V2, V3, C1, C2 and C3 (i.e., 3 vibrato and 3 chorus), which can be selected
via the [TYPE] button.

Press the [ON] button to activate the effect. Its indicator
lights.
2.
Press the [TYPE] button to open the VIBRATO/CHORUS
page and change effect.
3.
Use the [DATA ENTRY] knob or the
the desired effect and depth.
4.
You can press also the [TYPE] button to select the next
effect.

Adding Overdrive Effect

This is the typical effect of vacuum tube amplifier and it is achieved by
"overdriving" the valves.

It's a characteristic effect of the pipe organ that produces
a fluctuation of the amplitude and pitch of the sound,
producing a tremolo and vibrato effect.
NOTE
This effect can be selected in the presence of an pipe organ
sound.
