Connecting The Signal Cables

1.
Before connection between the monitor and PC or device, power off both.
2.
Connect an end of the analog HDMI signal cable to the HDMI port of your PC or
device and the other end to the HDMI port of the monitor. You can also connect
RGB, CVBS, DVI-D and S-video signal cables to each corresponding signal port
if the PC or device is equipped with them.
3.
Make sure the signal cable is secure by tightening the connecting screws.
4.
Select the signal input through the OSD menu. For more details, see the next
section.

Connecting AC Power

1.
Plug in the female end of the power cord into the AC power connector on the
monitor (KT-E320FEE).
2.
Plug the female end of the AC/DC power adaptor into the DC power connector
and plug the female end of the power cord into the AC power connector on the
adaptor. (KT-E240FEE)
3.
Plug the male end of the power cord into the wall socket. The plug on the power
cable may vary according to the electrical standard in each country.
Positioning
Before configuration of the workstation, prepare a place that has a stable, flat, dust-
free surface with good ventilation. Position the monitor screen away from the window
and direct sunlight. The glare caused by reflected sunlight can make the image on
the screen difficult to read.

When positioning the equipment, make sure that the main ports
and sockets are easily accessible.
Do not place the monitor close to a heat source.
Do not place the monitor in direct sunlight or near a window. When
the monitor is exposed to moisture or direct sunlight, it can cause
serious damage.
The monitor must be transported horizontally with the head upright.
Transportation with the monitor head tilted or swiveled may cause
overbalancing.
