Safety precautions
Caution! FOR OPTIMUM PERFORMANCE, PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING
WHEN SETTING UP AND USING THE LCD MONITOR.
Do not place any heavy objects on the power cord. Damage to the cord may
cause shock or fire.
When operating the LCD monitor with its AC/DC power supply, use a power
supply cord you use must have been approved by and comply with the interna-
tional safety standards.
Do not bend the power cord.
DO NOT OPEN THE MONITOR. There are no user serviceable parts inside and
opening or removing covers may expose you to dangerous shock hazards or
other risks. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel.
Do not place this product on a sloping or unstable cart, stand or table, as the
Monitor may fall, caus- ing serious breakdown.
Do not spill any liquids into the cabinet or never use your monitor near water.
Do not insert any kinds of objects into the cabinet slots, as they may touch dan-
gerous voltage points, which can be harmful or fatal or may cause electric
shock, fire or equipment failure.
Do not cover vents on the Monitor.
Do not place any objects onto the Monitor and do not use the Monitor outdoors.
The inside of the fluorescent tube located in the LCD monitor contains Mercury.
Please follow the bylaws or rules of your municipality to dispose of the tube
properly.
Do not use a monitor in very hot, humid, dusty or oily areas.
If a monitor or glass is broken, handle with care. Do not come in contact with the
liquid crystal.
Only use 120 Volt in North America area with UL Listed detachable power cord
with NEMA configu- ration 5-15P type (parallel blades) plug cap.
This marking shown on the product or its literature, indicates that it
should not be disposed with other household waste at the end of its
working life. To prevent possible harm to the environment or human
health from uncontrolled waste disposal, please separate this from other
types of wastes and recycle it responsibly to promote the sustainable
reuse of material resources.
Household users should contact either the retailer where they
purchased this product, or their local government office, for
details of where and how they can take this item for environmen-
tally safe recycling.
Business users should contact their supplier and check the terms
and conditions of the purchase contract. This product should not
be mixed with other commercial waste for disposal.
