screen. When this message disappears, the
images have been deleted.
To cancel deleting
Select [CANCEL] with V on the control
button, then press z.

Formatting a CD-RW

, Place the CD-RW you want to
format in the disc tray.
Set the mode dial to SET UP,
and turn on the camera.
• Formatting is performed to delete all the images
on the CD-RW or to use a CD-RW formatted
with other equipment than this camera. When
you format a CD-RW, all data stored on
the disc will be deleted. Check the
contents of the disc before formatting.
The CD-RW is also automatically
initialized after formatting.

• When you format, be sure to use a fully charged
battery pack or the AC power adaptor as the
power source.
• A CD-R cannot be formatted.
