Efficiency display
Principle
Information on the driving style and consumption
can be shown as a widget in the instrument clus‐
ter in the form of a bar display, for example.
General
Various information is displayed, depending on
the driving mode activated:
Drive
Display
mode
COMFORT
Current consumption.
SPORT
Average consumption.
Energy recuperation.
ECO PRO
ECO PRO bonus range.
The route covered in the coast‐
ing drive state.
Current consumption.
Detailed information
Average consumption
Average consumption indicates the fuel con‐
sumption over a specific route.
Current consumption
The current consumption indicates how much
fuel is currently being used. It is possible to

check the economy and environmental compati‐
bility of your driving style.
Energy recuperation
Energy recuperation involves converting the ki‐
netic energy of the vehicle into electrical energy
in overrun mode. The vehicle battery is partially
charged and fuel consumption can be lowered.
ECO PRO bonus range
In ECO PRO driving mode, the ECO PRO bonus
range, see page 257, shows how the range is in‐
creased by adopting a fuel-efficient driving style.
Check Control
Principle
The Check Control monitors vehicle functions
and alerts you to any faults in the monitored sys‐
tems.
General
A Check Control message is displayed as a com‐
bination of indicator or warning lamps and text
messages in the instrument cluster and, if appli‐
cable, in the Head-Up Display.
If applicable, the text message shown in the Con‐
trol Display is accompanied by an additional
acoustic signal.
Hiding Check Control messages
Press the button on the turn indicator lever.
