3.18. Data Communication through USB Connection

BHT is able to connect with external terminals with the USB terminals, charge, and transmit data using the USB direct cable
or the cradle.

3.18.1. Connection procedure

- For the connection to USB direct cable and the cradle, refer to 1.2 System Components.
* Please refer to the BHT-1700/1800 Hardware User's Manual.

3.18.2. Communication procedure

1）Connect the USB direct cable and the cradle to computer through the USB connection.
2）Connect the USB direct cable and the cradle to the BHT.
3）Swipe down the screen from the status bar to display the notification drawer.
4）Tap "USB charging this device" on the notification drawer, and the pop-up screen for USB connection is
displayed.
By default, "Charge this device" is selected.
When you need to access a file on this device from the PC client, select "Transfer files", and then you can access a file
on the device.
When you need to limit transferable files to video or image files only, select "Transfer photos (PTP)", and then you can
access only video and image files in the DCIM of the device and Pictures folder.
