Loading Paper

Recommended Paper

The following printing pack is made especially for the
UP-D72XRS.
Thermal printing paper UPP-725
Contains thermal paper.
100 sheets of 8 × 10 inches (about 203 × 254 mm) size
paper
Be sure to use paper made expressly for the UP-
D72XRS. If you use other paper, the quality of the
printout cannot be guaranteed. Use of another type of
paper may also cause malfunction of the printer.
Loading Paper
Follow the steps below to load the print paper.
When you use the printer for the first time, start from
step 2.
Notes
• When loading paper on the paper tray, do not turn off
the power. If you turn off the power, the image data
stored in the memory will be lost.
• When handling the paper, do not touch the printing
surface. Dust, finger prints, or sweat are likely to cause
unsatisfactory printing.

Push the EJECT TRAY button on the front panel.
The paper tray is ejected.
Push the EJECT TRAY button.

Open the paper tray cover by putting your fingers in
the grooves on both sides of the paper tray, and
pulling it upward in the direction of the arrow.
Note
If the old printing surface protection sheet remains
in the paper tray, remove it.

Place the paper in the paper tray so that the printing
surface faces down, with the printing surface
protection sheet on the bottom.
Thermal paper: place the sheets in the paper tray with
the printing surface facing down.
Notes
• The paper tray holds up to 100 sheets of paper. If
you exceed this limit, paper jams may occur.
• Do not mix paper of different types.
• When adding paper to the paper tray, remove the
printing surface protection sheet of the new paper
and place the new paper on the top of the paper
already in the paper tray.
• Load the paper so that it lays flat in the paper tray.
If the paper is curled, it will overflow the paper
tray and the printing position may shift. If this
happens, load fewer sheets in the paper tray.
