Telegram Check / Error Acknowledgement
The frequency inverter and the bus master check the telegrams for correctness. Depending on the
type of telegram, the corresponding reaction takes place. The telegrams are checked for correct syn-
tax, address and text part (content, checksum).
In case the telegram contains errors, the frequency inverter either returns NAK or it does not respond
at all. The possible causes are listed below:
No response:
− incorrect telegram structure
− incorrect control character
− wrong address
− telegram addressed to address 32 (Broadcast); in this case the frequency inverter does not reply
