Using the Memory Stick™

Enabling write-protection

You can write-protect your Memory Stick™, so that important data will not be deleted by mistake.
At the back of your Memory Stick™, you will find the write-protect tab. With this tab you can enable or
disable write-protection.
To disable write-protection, proceed as follows:
1 Slide the tab to the left (1).
You can now read and write data.

To enable write-protection, proceed as follows:
Slide the tab to the right (2).


You can now read but not write data. Use the write-protect mode when you do not want to write or
delete data on the inserted Memory Stick™.
