4.1. Preparing Bluetooth Handheld Scanners

The battery must not be changed or inserted in explosion-hazardous areas.
Improper handling can void the type approval.
Preparation of Bluetooth handheld scanners

The battery compartment is located on the underside of the Bluetooth handheld
scanner. Loosen the screw with a suitable tool to remove the cover. After loosening
the screw, some force is required to remove the cover

The battery is required to commission the Bluetooth handheld scanner. The protec-
tive cap must be removed before inserting the battery into the handheld scanner.
