6 - 5 Firmware Update
How to transfer the firmware data
Control programs of the machine or a screen data is
updated because of the ongoing improvement.
Control program of PF-P3100 can be updated by transfer-
ring the new firmware data from your PC.
This section explains how to update the control program.
Preparation
Prepare the version-up data.
- Download the version-up program data from DOW,
and store the data to the desktop of your PC.

Turn off the power switch of the folder.
Remove the cover F (front).
- Find the serial connector and the dip switch. (Fig.1)
Set the SW 1 on DSW 1.
- Set the switch 1 of DSW-1 on the control P.C.B.
(QPM-243) to ON. (Fig.1)
Connect the serial cable.
- Connect the board and the PC using the serial cable
and the adapter.
Turn on the power switch of the folder.
Turn on the power of your PC.
