Installation 15 / 25 Installation Preparing for use Move the operator handles (1) to the working position as follows: remove the spring clips (2) from the pins, pull out the pins, move the handles to the desired position (Pos. 1), insert the pins and secure them with the spring clips. Attention Transport position Connect electric power to the lifting device. -

Installation 16 / 25 Before switching off the device with the push switch, allow it to run for at least 30 Switching off at the seconds with the venting valve open end of the day This loosens and removes any dirt which may have been deposited on the vacuum blower. -

Installation 17 / 25 Mounting of a quick-change suction plate (optional) The assembly of a quick-change suction plate is the same as the assembly of a normal suction plate: If a suction plate has already been installed on the unit, dismount it before. -

Installation 18 / 25 Press the closing brackets (2) downwards - the clamping bracket is released from the counterholder. Repeat steps 1 and 2 on the other side of the device. The suction plate is now detached. Remove the suction plate. Mounting of the suction plate with counterholder Place the device on the suction plate in the center. -

Operating 19 / 25 Operating The ground or floor in the working area should by clean and dry or rough enough Safety Instructions to ensure that the operating personnel cannot slip. The device is intended only for manual transport of paving stones or slabs. Never suspend it from a crane or mechanical shovel, etc. -

Operating 20 / 25 The following operating steps must be checked by a qualified mechanic prior to use of Lifting, Transporting the device by the operating personnel. Correct any faults before the device is used. and Lowering Loads Switch the blower on. 7.2.1 Lifting Loads Position the lifting device directly above the load. -

Operating 21 / 25 When using the device SPEEDY VS“ at a lifting equipment (e.g. excavator) the Lifting eye with safety „Lifting eye with safety chain – VS-XL-EH“ should be installed. chain Lift the device with the sucked load just a little (10-20 cm), then remove the safety chain (1) from the chain case (2) and throw it under the lifted load. -

Maintenance 23 / 25 Maintenance The device may be installed and maintained only by qualified personnel such as General mechanics and electricians. Always disconnect the electric power before starting any maintenance work. The fans must not be opened during the guarantee period as this will entail loss of guarantee cover. -

Maintenance 24 / 25 Check the device for leaks at least every three months. Leak Test Apply the suction pad to a flat air-tight surface. Switch the vacuum blower on and wait until a vacuum of at least -200 mbar is reached. -
