By clicking the symbol in the left upper corner a window will open which contains the special functions of the
program. At "Set Value" the index value of the pulse counter can be set to a start value (meter
synchronization) or to be reset. The "Name" must be entered as VB and the value as a decimal number.
The pre-setting of the index value can be done by using a config cable. If the modem is in "sleep" mode the
config cable must be plugged in the socket in order to activate it.
The modem will now come out sleep mode and will become active. At least 3 LEDs have to be on before a
value can be written. For battery modems this can be done by setting DIP switch 3 to ON. Make sure that
DIP-switch 3 is back in the OFF position before placing the cover. This is to save battery power.
The gACC-499E/U is equipped with a selection switch for the configuration. With DIP-switch 5 (to OFF) can
be chosen between the gAVC1200 application and (to ON) the Encoder application.
