The format of the read time correction data.
The performed correction is determined by the known correction of the same month, for the previous year.
When this value is available yet (new installation), the correction of the last month is applied.
Setting the time adjust
At "Set time adjust" a permanent offset of the clock can be set. The standard deviation of the crystal of the
clock can be set to zero with this function. Because a clock may run ahead or run behind, a character can be
used. A positive value is used to correct a clock that is running behind and a negative value is used to
correct a clock that is running ahead.
The input of the correction Value is in milliseconds. The correction is determined over a period of one month.
Note that this correction is only a correction for the standard deviation of the clock and ignores e.g.
temperature drift. The monthly correction determined is based on the difference between the internal clock
and the time is written by the server corrects for both the standard deviation and for the temperature drift. By
synchronizing the internal clock with the server clock the gACC 499 will determine an average correction for
each month and this correction will be applied the following month. If an adjustment is determined for a given
month (the year before), then it is also used again for the same month a year later.
