Operation | Frequently Used Operations
PERFORMING NON-UNIFORMITY CORRECTION (NUC)
The NUC process corrects for image noise or artifacts caused by external or
internal temperature changes.
To perform the NUC process:
1. Mount the lens cover (A) on the camera lens.
2. Press the NUC button (B) for 3 seconds.
The image on the screen freezes for a few seconds, indicating NUC is
in progress.
Perform the NUC process separately on either of the following:
IR image – run NUC in normal or enhanced mode.
z
Thermography image – run NUC in thermography mode.
z
▪ Only perform NUC when there is image degradation.
▪ The NUC process does not resolve poor image quality caused by lens
condensation or dirt on the lens.
