3.1 Operator control and display elements
Meaning

Sublicensing is therefore indicated
only when no technological events that
can be acknowledged are pending.
A fault has occurred to which the user
program cannot respond.
The following actions may be required
to rectify the fault:

Replace the D4xx
•
A technological event that can be
acknowledged (alarm, message, note)
is pending. The LED switches off when
all pending acknowledgeable events
have been acknowledged.

An event has higher priority than
sublicensing.
Enables visual identification of a
control unit connected to Ethernet
(flashing DCP); the flashing is initiated
by the ES and overrides all other
pending displays for the duration.
D4xx is deenergized or parameter
assignment is missing.
DP1 is defined as the master:
At least one slave is missing.
DP1 is defined as an i-slave:
A parameter assignment master is not
present.
PROFIBUS channel is ready to
communicate; cyclic communication is
not taking place (bus status: Clear).
PROFIBUS channel is ready to
communicate; cyclic communication is
taking place (bus status: Operate).
D4xx is deenergized or parameter
assignment is missing.
DP2 is defined as the master:
At least one slave is missing.
