Chapter 4 – Set Up and Operation
An alarm can be triggered either when the measured value exceeds a high threshold or goes
below a low threshold for a period of time, as configured in viewLinc as HighHigh or LowLow
threshold alarm settings. The HMT140 can also be configured to initiate a Transmit Attempt
when it exits an alarm state. Refer to the Vaisala viewLinc User Guide for information about
alarm settings.
4.4 Additional Settings
4.4.1 Change Input/Output Scale
If you want your HMT140 to provide more meaningful voltage or current output
measurements, you can modify the output settings (if you are not sure if your network
requires or supports this option, contact Vaisala Technical Support for assistance).
To modify voltage or current input/output values:
1. From the Setup tab, select the I/O Definition tab.
2. Enter the input range values of the HMT140.
