ELIMINATING FAULTS
MALFUNCTION
Coating material is suddenly
not emitted during spraying.
Spray pattern is not clean and
even.
Pressure at the manometer rises
to more than 120 bars.
Machine does not pump
enough coating material.

POSSIBLE CAUSE
Tip is clogged because of impurity in
the coating material or because the
granular size is too large.
Texture tip too small.
Coating material "plug" in the high
pressure hose.
Container empty (pump has sucked
in air)
Machine poorly cleaned
No coating material in the container.
Pump has sucked in air.
Pressure sensor faulty
Pressure set too low.
High pressure hose diameter too small.
Stator and rotor worn.
Nozzle size too small for the material
being processed

ELIMINATION
Switch the machine off.
Secure the trigger guard on the spray gun.
Remove the tip and clean it.
Select a larger tip.
Depressurize the high pressure hose – set the se-
lector switch to "R" (reverse).
Pump the coating material back into the contain-
er.
The high pressure hose must be
pressureless.
Watch the manometer ––> 0 bar.
Wear safety goggles.
Decouple high pressure hose and rinse with water
hose. Couple the high pressure hose back on.
Top up material in the container within around 2
minutes (after this, the machine switches itself off
automatically and must be restarted). When work
continues, it may take a few moments until the
material comes out evenly again.
Thoroughly clean machine
Refill the container with coating material and
pump it around until the coating material emerg-
es without any bubbles.

Increase the pressure with the pressure regulator.
Use a high pressure hose with a larger diameter.
Replace the stator and rotor (Art. No. 2395996, see
Section 9.4)
Select a larger tip.
