CONNECT THE HIGH-PRESSURE HOSE AND GUN
When attaching the high-pressure hose to the
hose connection, hold the hose connection
with the double open ended spanner inclu-
ded in the scope of delivery.
• Check that the pump unit is seated firmly.
• Remove the sealing cap on the hose connection.
• Screw the high-pressure hose (Fig. 5, 1) onto the hose con-
nection (2).
• Screw the spray gun onto the other end of the high-pressu-
re hose.
• Tighten all union nuts on the high-pressure hose so that no
coating material escapes.
Do not bend the high pressure hose!
Protect it against damage, for exam-
ple against being driven over as well as
against sharp objects and edges.

PREPARING THE MACHINE (FIG. 6)
At delivery, the pump unit is filled with con-
servation agent (PlastGuard longlasting, Art.
No. 2399 960). At initial commissioning and
with each subsequent use of this conservati-
on agent, it should first be pumped fully out
before work commences.
Do not use any water during commission-
ing to flush the conservation agent out.
Doing so could cause the rotor and stator
to seize, requiring them to be replaced.
• Pour coating material into the container.
• Connect the machine to the mains supply.
The operation light (fig. 6, 1) shows operational readiness.
• Set selector switch (2) to "F".
• Set the pressure regulator (3) to the yellow area (stage 1-4).
• Hold the spray gun over an empty bucket.
• Unlock the spray gun and pull the trigger guard (Fig. 7, 1)
(the pump begins to transport paint).
If no material is being pumped, move the se-
lector switch several times briefly from F to R
in order to release the jammed stator / rotor.
• As soon as coating material comes out of the spray gun, re-
lease the trigger guard.
• Screw the nozzle holder with the selected nozzle onto
the spray gun, align it and tighten it (see also the instruc-
tions for spray guns / nozzle holders).
The machine is now full and ready.
