move the deck lifter to its lower limit, and then move
the arrow (shown in the figure to the right) until it
stops so that the area [3] of white increase; then,
mount the front cover.
(If the deck is operated without matching the paper
level indicator and the deck lifter position, the drive
mechanisms of the paper level indicator can suffer
damage.)

Cover
1) Detach the deck from its host machine; then,
remove the 6 screws [1], and detach the rear cover [2].

3.2.3.1 Opening
Compartment
1) Push the deck release grip to detach the deck from
its host machine. Then, push down the latch plate
[1] found at the rear left to open the compartment
[2].
