Operating the wok cooking surface

1
Never add fat or oil to an already heated wok
pan. Risk of burns from being splashed with
hot fat!
The wok pan heats up very quickly after being switched
on. Never heat up an empty wok pan; first add fat or oil
or other liquid to the wok pan and then switch the appli-
ance on.
As the heat storage capacity of the induction wok is
extremely low, the food to be cooked reacts immedi-
ately to changes in cooking level. This permits a much
more direct intervention into the cooking process, e.g.
in order to prevent overcooking by reducing the cooking
level. On the other hand greater attention must be paid
when cooking with the induction wok than with conven-
tional cooking.
1
Comply with the safety instructions!
1
Make sure an empty wok pan is never present
in a cuvette which is already switched on. It
overheats very quickly through the high power
of the cooking surface.

Switching on the control panel (Stand-by mode)

0

switch).

no other touch control is activated within 10 seconds
after switching on,
no touch control is activated again after switching off
the cuvette. The contact break-time for this is
10 seconds,
one or more touch controls are activated for longer
