Switching on the cooking surface

The induction cooking surface has 10 cooking levels
(„1" to „9" and Power-Level „P").

Switch the cooking surface on by setting the
desired cooking level with the plus or minus
touch controls.
– The number of the cooking level appears in
the display.
When the plus touch control is activated, the cooking
zone starts on level „1".
– Then the value of the cooking level can be set.
When the minus touch control is activated, the cooking
level starts at the maximum level (Power-Level „P").
– Then the value of the cooking level can be set.

Parboiling with the Power-Level

With the Power-Level „P" you can sear or boil very
quickly at full power. After 10 minutes the induction
cooking surface switches automatically down to cook-
ing level „9".

Select cooking level „9" and then activate the
plus touch control once.
– A „P" is shown in display. The Power-Level is
activated.

Changing the cooking level

A brief activation of the minus or plus touch control
changes the cooking level by one unit.
A longer activation of the minus or plus touch control
reduces or increases the cooking level up to the corre-
sponding stop.

Parboil using the highest possible cooking level
and continue boiling at a lower level.
