BASIC OPERATION (CONT.)

Setting the Alarm

The alarm settings must be performed while in STANDBY mode and make sure radio time has
been set.
1.
Press and hold the AL1(6) or AL2(7) button (0:00) will be flashing and be shown
on the display.
2.
When '0:00' is flashing, set the alarm time by repeatedly pressing HOUR(4) and
MIN(5), press AL1(6) or AL2(7) button to store the alarm time. And 'Buzz' or 'Radio'
indicator will stop flashing.
3.
Press AL1(6) or AL2(7) button repeatedly to select the type of alarm (the buzzer or
radio station), the source indicator will appear on the display.
If FM/AM tunner is selected as alarm source, yet you are listensing to radio
at the preset alarm time, the current lisened station volume will increases
gradually to the maximum alarm volume means your alarm is activated.
If it is under standby mode at the preset alarm time, the last listened station
(FM/AM) or buzz will be activated autmoatically.
4.
Press AL1(6) or AL2(7) button repeatedly to activate or deactivate the alarm timer,
the alarm indicator will appear on the display.
5.
When the alarm sounds, press the AL1(6) or AL2(7) button or RADIO ON/OFF(1)
button, the alarm will stop, and it will start again at the same time, next day.
6.
To cancel the alarm, press AL1(6) or AL2(7) button twice briefly, the alarm indicator
will disappears.
NOTE:
• When using the device, you can press and hold the AL1(6) or AL2(7) button to see what
time the alarm was set. Then the alarm time will briefly appear on the display.
• When the alarm sounds, volume increase gradually to the maximum alarm volume. You can
not adjust the alarm volume manually.
