  • Page 31 STEP 8 VSD PRE-INSTALLATION CHECKLIST PRIOR TO INSTALLING YOUR LIFT, PLEASE FOLLOW THIS CHECKLIST TO CONFIRM PROPER OPERATION. 1. RAISE THE LIFT UP TO CONFIRM OPERATION OF UPPER LIMIT SWITCH. APPROACH THE UPPER LIMIT SWITCH CAUTIOUSLY BY PRESSING THE UP BUTTON IN SHORT BURSTS AS YOU NEAR THE TOP OF THE LIFT TRAVEL. A PROPERLY WORKING LIMIT SWITCH WILL STOP THE LIFT BEFORE THE BALL SCREW REACHES ITS LIMIT OF TRAVEL.
