Chapter 2. Installing options

This chapter provides detailed instructions for adding hardware options to your
server. Some option-removal instructions are provided in case you need to remove
one option to install another.

Installation guidelines

Before you begin installing options in your server, read the following information:
v Review the safety information beginning on page v and the guidelines in

System reliability considerations

To help ensure proper system cooling and system reliability, make sure that:
