6. Put the drive belt as shown to make sure that it does
not get caught and break when the cutting deck is
attached.
7. Push the cutting deck into the equipment frame.
Make sure that the front guide plugs go in the
grooves on the equipment frame. The equipment
frame lock releases automatically.
8. Set the lift lever for the cutting deck in locked
position. The cutting deck lifts.
9. Push the cutting deck in until the rear guide plugs
touch the bottom of the grooves on the equipment
frame.

10. Put the cutting height stay in the hole for the cutting
height stay.
11. Put the drive belt around the drive wheels. Make
sure that the drive belt is on the correct side of the
tension wheel.
12. Put the spring in the spring holder.
13. Attach the front cover.
To remove the cutting deck
1. Park the product on level ground and apply the
parking brake.
2. Set the cutting height lever in the servicing position.
3. Pull the lift lever for the cutting deck rearward to its
locked position to lift up the cutting deck.
