Function faults

The following applies when lo-
cating and clearing faults:
Switch the vehicle off, remove
the key from the key switch
and disconnect the battery
plug!
Error code
1.2.5.2.
Brushes remain stopped
because the thermostatic
switch has been tripped.
1.2.6.1.
Brushes remain stopped
because the anti-blocking
system has been tripped.
1.2.6.3.
The brush attachment and
brush motor have been
switched off because the
anti-blocking system has
been tripped.

3.5.1 Error code table

In the case of system errors, a four-digit
error code appears in the left-hand op-
erating panel in addition to the service
indicator (wrench symbol).
Fault
The motor has overheated;
foreign bodies have possibly
jammed between the brush and
shaft (e.g. tape and such).
Foreign bodies (e.g. tape or
such) block the brushes
Foreign bodies between the
brush head and vehicle.
The dots in the error code flash. Clear
the fault or note down the service code
and inform your authorized Hako deal-
er.
Cause
• Check the brushes for foreign bodies
and remove them, as necessary.
• Allow the motor to cool down.
• If the problem reoccurs, determine the
cause of overheating; contact an autho-
rized Hako service center, if necessary.
• Check the brushes for foreign bodies
