Consumables (Main Unit)

Consumables are all products and materials which are consumed with regular
use and cannot be reused. Such consumables include but are not limited to
paper, chemicals and toner.
A number of factors are considered when the approximate yield expectancy
of a consumable is determined, including paper size and the amount of
coverage per page.

Field Replacement Parts

Field replacement parts are defined as those parts having a limited life that
will be reached during a customer's specific printer operation, and should be
replaced as needed. Examples of field replacement parts include, but are not
limited to the linear scale and carriage unit.
A field replacement parts list is provided in
the initial parts/supplies planning. A recommended part's life expectancy is
directly related to usage factors, such as paper size, paper quality,
environment, usage application, and printer maintenance. Therefore,
recommended parts do not have a warranty, and Canon USA cannot
guarantee a minimum life.
