Correcting Media Tilting

If you cannot eliminate horizontal bands by performing the operations under P. 92, "Alleviating Horizontal
Bands (Feed Correction Function)", perform the corrections listed here.
Procedure
If using roll media, check that the media is rolled evenly.
If the media is rolled unevenly, correct this problem, and then set up the media again.
Set [SHEET TYPE] to "OPAQUE."

under P. 96, "Using Transparent Media" to set [SHEET TYPE] to "OPAQUE."

TEST PRINT
Check the printing-test results to determine the correction value.
Choose the value that produces the least misalignment of the 2 lines. When you cannot choose between
two numbers, select a value that is halfway between them.
"R" means "right" and "L" means "left." For example, the "L2.5" lines having the least misalignment means
that there is a misalignment of 2.5 mm to the left. In this situation, the correction value is "2.5 mm to
the right."
