Connection

Connect peripheral devices to the server.
Connectors that allow a variety of peripheral devices to be connected are provided at the front and rear of the
server. The illustration below shows locations of peripheral devices and their connector available in standard
configuration. First connect the peripheral devices and then connect the power cord to the server. After that,
connect the power plug to the outlet.
WARNING
Be sure to observe the following precautions to use the server safety. Failure to
observe the precautions may cause death or serious injury. For details, see
Safety precautions in Precautions for Use.
Do not hold the power plug with wet hands
Do not connect the ground wire to a gas pipe
CAUTION

Use only the specified outlet to insert.
Do not connect the power cord to an outlet that has an illegal number of
connections.
Insert the power plug into the outlet as far as it goes.
