THERMOSTAT

1.
Open the clip holding the thermostat bulb to the
motor mount.
2. Remove the knob and thermostat mounting screws.
3. Guide the thermostat bulb through the bushing.
4. Remove the thermostat from heater

IGNITION CONTROL

1.
Disconnect the ignition cable and remove the nuts
securing the control to the side of the heater's base.
See Fig. 21.
2. When replacing, use care to prevent damage to the
controller's components.
There are not any serviceable components on the
ignition control. If defective, replace the complete
control.
HEAT /VENT SELECTOR SWITCH
Removal: Firmly squeeze the retainers located at the

top and bottom of the switch while pushing against
the switch body. See Fig. 22.
2. Installing:
-- Note the UP arrows located at the top of the switch
body, directly adjacent to terminals as shown.
Wire connections:
Terminal 1:Power to motor only (VENT MODE)
Terminal 2: Incoming power to heater.
Terminal 3: Power to thermostat (HEAT MODE)
Note: Terminals 4, 5, and 6 are not used.
