Figure 2. UltraView DVI Rear Panel The rear panel of the UltraView DVI has 16 DVI, USB, and Audio connectors for signals to and from the computers. Connect as many sets of PC cables as are required, up to a maximum distance of 20 ft (6.0 m) from the switch. -

INSTALLATION Installation Installation of the UltraView DVI is very simple. The steps to do so are outlined below. 1. Ensure that power is disconnected from UltraView DVI. 2. Connect the DVI cables, USB cables (male-A to male-B), and audio cables from the computers to the respective ports on the UltraView DVI. -

PuTTY and other terminal software may not default to the settings above. If the RS-232 connection seems unresponsive, cycling power to the UltraView DVI will reset all values and boot up messages will be sent to the terminal display, verifying the connection. -
Page 9: Hotkey Commands
Hotkey Commands The Hotkey command is a keyboard sequence used to trigger an action on the UltraView DVI through the use of the keyboard connected to a USB KB/MS port. To activate the hotkey sequence, press and release the CTRL key twice and then enter the desired hotkey command. A listing of available hotkey commands is shown in Appendix C. -

This Unit does not contain any internal user-serviceable parts. In the event a Unit needs repair or maintenance, you must first obtain a Return Authorization (RA) number from Rose Electronics or an authorized repair center. This Return Authorization number must appear on the outside of the shipping container. -
