9.11.2 Audio settings

1.
Open the CCIC1410 Homepage (see chapter 9.1).
2.
Choose the Configuration menu.
3.
On the left hand side, choose the menu item Audio and video.
4.
Define the settings.
5.
Click Save.
Mute:
Select this option to disable audio transmission from the network camera to all
clients. Note that if mute mode is turned on, no audio data will be transmitted to
any client even though the audio transmission is enabled in the Client Settings
page.
Internal microphone input gain:
There are two options for microphone input gain, 0 db and 20 db.
Audio type:
1.
Select audio codec G.711 a-law / µ-law or GSM-AMR and the bit rate.
G.711 a-law / u-law:
G.711 targets at performing good sound quality at the cost of higher
bandwidth consumption. You can select a-law or µ-law standard.
GSM-ARM
GSM-ARM is designed to optimize speech quality and requires less
bandwidth. The bit rates are selectable at the following rates: 4.75 Kbps,
5.15 bps, 5.90 Kbps, 6.7 Kbps, 7.4 Kbps, 7.95 Kbps, 10.2 Kbps and
12.2 Kbps.

When you have finished your settings on this page, click Save for them to
take effect.
