  • Page 4 Assembly 1. Set the Base on the floor. 2. Remove both Set Screws from the Base using the included 3/16” Hex Wrench. Upright Post 3. Slide the Cap onto the Base, aligning the hole with the Set Screw holes. 4. Lower the Upright Post into the Base with the tab at the bottom facing the same side as the Set Screw Holes.
  • Page 5 Assembly (continued) 8. Loosen the three Knobs on the T-Channel and insert the three Arms, bent end first. Tighten the Knobs. Knob 9. Slide the three Bracket Assemblies onto the Arms, knob-end first. Tighten the Knobs. 10. Make adjustments to properly fit your instrument. Bracket See the procedures on the following pages.   • Page 6 Adjustment 1. Lower the Bottom Arm as far down as possible and tighten the Knob. 2. Move the Left Arm as far out as possible and tighten the Knob. 3. Move the Bracket Assemblies to their approximate locations but don’t tighten knobs.   • Page 7 Adjustment (continued) 4. Remove the Right Arm from the T-Channel. CAUTION Two people are required for steps 5 through 7. 5. Set the tuba in the Stand (see note). Note: Be sure long vinyl-coated supports on the Bracket Assemblies are turned so they extend over small tubing on instrument.
  • Page 8 Adjustment (continued) 9. To adjust the height, carefully loosen Angle the Height Handle and move the Handle Stem Assembly up or down in the Upright Post. Retighten the Handle. 10. Make any fine adjustments with the Angle Handle. This is easier to pull Bottom Arm toward you while turning Handle.
