Important!
Nerve pain. Acute, painful irritation starting from the tho-
racic spine. Possible causes of this are nerve root com-
pressions and acute blockages in the area of the kinetic
elements or the joint faces of the vertebral bodies.
Pain relief
Galvanization, Stanger baths, iontophoresis, heat
therapy, ultrasonic therapy. Injections with local anes-
thetics in the paravertebral muscles is a tried and
tested treatment.
Heat therapy – short-wave

Longitudinal stimulation in the nerve end
Active: 2 cm – 4 cm

Every other day
Short-wave treatment relieves tension in muscles and
connective tissue. At dosage of 1, can also be applied for
2 – 3 minutes in inflammatory condition. The use of coil
(induction-field) electrodes rather than capacitor (dielec-
tric-field) electrodes is recommended.
Apply heat treatment only if it is bearable for the patient!
