Short-wave treatment relieves tension in muscles and
connective tissue. At dosage of 1, can also be applied for
2 – 3 minutes in inflamed or inflammatory condition. The
use of coil (induction-field) electrodes rather than capaci-
tor (dielectric-field) electrodes is recommended.
Bursal synovitis

Manual therapy: pain-relieving traction, mobilization be-
low caudal, cryotherapy or cold compresses in acute
condition. Histamine iontophoresis. heat therapy and
ultrasound in chronic condition.
