PRECAUTION
Going Through Security Checkpoint
When wearing a Dexcom Pro Q, ask for hand-wanding or a full-body pat-down and
visual inspection instead of going through the Advanced Imaging Technology (AIT)
body scanner (also called a millimeter wave scanner).
A Dexcom Pro Q can be worn for the walk-through metal detector.
Because Dexcom hasn't tested every x-ray and scanner, it is unknown if they could
damage the Dexcom Pro Q.
If unsure what kind of machine it is, to be safe – either ask the officer, request
hand-wanding, or request a full-body pat-down.
