Thanks for purchasing ezcap280 HD Video Capture. The following guides you how to set up the
device. Hope this device will bring you nice digital experience.
With this ezcap280 HD Video Capture, you can capture 1080P video from HDMI or YPBPR
(Component Video) port, such as PS3, PS4, XBOX, XBOX ONE, Blue ray and so on.
Features/ports and buttons:
1. OUTPUT—HDMI output, pass through
display HDMI or YPBPR video.
2. INPUT—HDMI input.
3. YPBPR INPUT—YPBPR component
input.
4. PWR—DC 5V power supply.
5. USB HOST—Plug USB drive or USB
HDD to save record files.
6. LINE IN—Work with YPBPR input only.
7. MIC—Connect a microphone and record
voice comments when play game.
8. LINE OUT—Audio output.
9. LED indicator—Color will be green when
standby, be red when recording.
10. REC button—Press to record/stop.
Note:
Model ezcap280HB don't have
YPBPR INPUT, LINE IN and LINE OUT ports.

Hope this device will bring you nice digital experience. With this ezcap280 HD Video Capture, you can capture 1080P video from HDMI or YPBPR (Component Video) port, such as PS3, PS4, XBOX, XBOX ONE, Blue ray and so on.
- Page 2 Connections: Ezcap280 have 2 input modes: HDMI, component. And it will automatically recognize the input video source, no need to switch manually. Just please do not to connect 2 source at same time. 1, PS3，need to add HDMI splitter to decode HDCP for recording.
- Page 3 Use “safety remove” option to remove your USB drive or HDD after format from computer, DO NOT just plug out without click “safety remove” option, otherwise you will cause problem during recording. Some HDMI video sources may have HDCP protection; you cannot get the pass through video and record it.
- Page 4 1, Connect power with DC adaptor 2, Use the adapter cable in the package to connect component (red, blue, green), just don’t mix the red with the audio cable (the audio cable red and white will be separated with component) 3, With HDMI cable connect to monitor 4, Plug in an USB drive.

- Page 6 The max size per file will be around 1.95GB (around 15 minutes for 1080p video), when you record a video more than 1.95GB (15 minutes), ezcap280 will partition it in more than 1 file, for example: if you record a 45 minutes 1080p video by one click recording, you will see 3 files: Encode_1080P_1, Encode_1080P_1_1, Encode_1080P_1_2…and so on...

- Page 10 Usually USB drive will flash seconds (If your USB drive includes LED inside, and don’t care this if it’s no LED inside) when you just plug it into ezcap280 device, then turn off. And it will flash after you press REC button to start recording, if not, it means not recording.

After long time using, you will see the number of recording file become too big, for example Encode_1080P_234, but you want it be start from Encode_1080P_0, to do it you just keep press record button (before power on), then plug the power jack to power on the device, after 3 seconds, the file number will start from 0.
