- The use of a Windows-based device to control the MPC lets you take advantage of the
power of Windows software, and avoid having to carry other tools, like notepads,
calculators, etc.
- Operates on 50 and 60 Hz networks
- Detects non-resistive earthing connections and self-adjusts in order to measure correctly
- Measures step and contact voltage and earth resistance
- True-RMS voltmeter accurate to 10 mV. Auto ranging up to 700 Vac.
- True-RMS ammeter accurate to 10 mA. Auto ranging up to 100 Vac.
- It has built-in safety protection that make it almost impossible to cause harm to people
- Output protected against short-circuit (25 Vac output limited to 35 A).

You need a low-impedance power supply line to get maximum performance, given
that peaks of up to 130 A for 20 ms may appear when applying maximum power.
We recommend using cable with a cross-section of 2.5 mm
resistance in the cabling.
We recommend protecting the line with: 50 A B-curve Circuit Breaker (ICP), or 30
A C-curve Circuit Breaker, or 16 A D-curve Circuit Breaker, per EN60898. This
avoids potential firing of the protections when taking measurements with the unit.
