ASB is enabled if any status item is selected. The printer transmits a 4-byte
status when this command is executed. The printer automatically
transmits a 4-byte status message whenever the status changes. The disabled status items
may change, because each status transmission represents the current status.
Multiple status items can be selected.
When n=0, ASB is disabled.
The 4-byte status are transmitted without confirming whether the host computer is ready
to receive data. The 4-byte status must be consecutive, except for the XOFF code.
If ASB is enabled when the printer is disabled by ESC =, the printer transmits the 4-byte
status message whenever the status changes.
