REMOTE CONTROL
(FROM THE HANDSET)
You can access your answering system using the cordless handset.
-
If the unit is not set to the auto answer mode, you cannot access the
answering system using the handset.
To hear message playback using the handset
1. Press the REMOTE button.
The REMOTE indicator lights.
The message tape rewinds and
plays back your messages.
After the last message, 3 beeps
sound.
If no messages
are recorded, 3
beeps sound when you press
the REMOTE button.
If 3 seconds elapse with no
operations
after 3 beeps,
remote operation will be
released automatically.
Only "7"
(OGM REC) and "O" (TURN
OFF) operations
are acceptable
within these 3 seconds.
If more than 10 messages
have
been recorded, a single long
beep sounds when you press
the REMOTE button.

Then you can:
a) Repeat message playback
b) Save messages
c) Erase messages
To repeat messages
playback
After message playback ends
(3 beeps sound), press"1"
(within 10 seconds).
The tape plays back again.
After the last message, 3 beeps
sound.
To save messages
After message playback ends
(3 beeps sound), press the
END button (or return the
handset to the base station
cradle).
The messages are saved, and
any new messages are record-
ed after the old ones.
To erase messages
After message playback ends
(3 beeps sound), press "2"
(within 10 seconds).
The tape rewinds, and 3 beeps
sound. Any new messages are
recorded over the old ones.
