CODE
The CLA-1 380 has a digital security system with 10 million possible codes.
This system helps prevent the unauthorized
use of your telephone
line by
another cordless telephone
user.
A security code is set automatically
the first time the handset is placed in the
base station cradle. When the code is set, a beep sounds.
The security code must be reset if the battery pack is replaced or the power is
interrupted.
How to reset your security code

Place the handset in the cradle
of the base station.
Press the PAGEANT button on
the base station (within 3
seconds). A beep sounds within
30 seconds. The security code
is now set.
To change your security code
at any time, simply repeat the
above steps. A new security
code is automatically
set each
time.
NOTES:

It is necessary to change the
security code if;
There is a power failure.
. The battery pack is changed.
The battery pack is exhaust-
ed.
The AC adaptor is disconnect-
ed.

If the security code has been
cleared, calls cannot be made
until the code is reset.
