REMOTE CONTROL (FROM ANOTHER TELEPHONE)
You can access your answering
Remote Access Code Number Lsbel
system from another location using
any Touch-Tone telephone. Your
factory-preset remote access code
number (located on the bottom of
the unit) helps ensure your privacy.

NOTES:
- If the unit is not set to the auto
answer mode, you cannot
access the answering system
from another location. (You
must activate the system first.
See "To turn on the answering
system by remote" on page 36.)
- The beeperless remote feature
does not work when you call
the unit from a pulse-dialing
telephone.
To hear message playback by remote
1. Dial your phone number and NOTES:
listen to your outgoing mes-
sage.
2. After you hear the beep at the
end of the outgoing message, -
enter your remote access code
within 3 seconds.
The message tape rewinds and
plays back the messages. After
the last message, 3 beeps
sound.
If no messages are recorded, 3
beeps sound when you enter
your remote access code.
The answering system auto-
matically returns to the auto
answer mode in 3 seconds. At
this point, if you wish, you can
change your outgoing message
or turn off the answering
system.
If more than 10 messages have
been recorded, a single long
beep sounds when you enter
your remote access code.
