If you have a problem with your cordless telephone/answering
system,
try the following suggestions
before calling for service.

The AC adaptor
may not be
plugged into a wall outlet.

The battery pack may need
recharging.
(BATT
LOW indicator
lights
in talk mode.)

The security code may not be set
properly. (See page 11.)

The handset may be too far from
the base station.
Important note:
The rechargeable battery pack
should be replaced with a new one
if the BATT LOW indicator lights
after only a few telephone calls, or
if the available calling time (dura-
tion of a phone call) becomes
shorter than normal, even when the
battery pack has been charged for
12 or more hours.

If the communication
range is too
short:
-
Check the base station location.
(See page 4.)

Extend the base station antenna
fully.
If incoming
calls
do not ring on the
handset:
-
The handset may be too far from
the base station.
-
The RINGER switch may be set to
the off position.
If the battery is not charging:
-
The battery contacts may need
cleaning.
-
The battery plug may be connected
properly.
If you encounter
noise or interfer-
ence:
-
Press the SCAN button.
REMEMBER:
Your handset battery needs recharging when you hear a beep every 3
seconds during a conversation.
(The BATT LOW indicator also lights.)
