The EventPlayer is not just an audio player, it can also read sequence files in order to operate DMX512
devices.
Using the Show Control Sequencer (free download from www.id-al.com) you will be able to create complete
scenarii managing both broadcast of sound and sending commands to devices connected on the DMX
port, in perfect synchronisation.
You are invited to refer to the software manual to use this function.
To this output you can connect any device compatible with the DMX512 protocol, such as dimmers, gen-
lock projectors, DMX converters towards relays or servomotors.

Principle of creating a project in Show Control software
The principle is to create DMX event tracks or output contacts and then place the events in a grid according
to the timeline and the associated audio file.
Once the file has been created, simply copy it to the EventPlayer mkII media with the audio files. The
operation of the player is the same whether it is an audio file, an event file alone or the synchro playback of
both. Folders and their options, trigger input contacts and all other control devices such as time programming
work the same way. Of course, you can use as many event files as you want.
Real time visualization - EP230 only
If you connect an USB cable from the player to a PC, you can then activate the real-time mode on the
software. The reader becomes a PC to DMX interface. Playing your work on the software will display the
result on the DMX output.
