Module programming

Refer to "LED diagnostics and troubleshooting" for more information and for troubleshooting purposes.
Key-typevehicles with CAN

Wait until the LED turns ON solid red.
Insert the key in the ignition switch. The LED flashes red slowly for a few seconds to
indicate the key is in learning mode. The LED turns ON solid green.*

* If the LED starts to flash orange, it indicates the vehicle is equipped with a factory
remote starter. Refer to "LED Diagnostics & Troubleshooting" for more information.
Turn the key to the ON position. The LED turns ON solid green for 3 seconds, then

shuts OFF.

The module is now programmed. Remove the key from the ignition barrel.
You have successfully completed the module programming sequence.
Push-to-Start (PTS) vehicles with CAN

Wait until the LED turns ON solid red.
Press the Push-to-Start (PTS) button twice to turn the ignition ON. The LED flashes red
slowly for afew seconds to indicate the key is in learning mode. It then turns ON solid
green for 3 seconds, before shutting OFF.*

* If the LED starts to flash orange, it indicates the vehicle is equipped with a factory
remote starter. Refer to "LED Diagnostics & Troubleshooting" for more information.
The module is now programmed. Press the PTS button once more to turn the ignition

OFF.
You have successfully completed the module programming sequence.
Key-typevehicles without CAN
Wait until the LED turns ON solid red.

Note: To skip the bypass programming, press the programming button 5 times. The
LED turns ON solid orange.
Insert the key in the ignition switch. The LED flashes red slowly for a few seconds to
2 indicate the key is in learning mode. The LED turns ON solid green.*
