Option
Description
Roam Metric
Specify an RSSI (Received Signal Strength Indication) value to begin a roaming scan.
Roam Delta
Specify the RSSI threshold for target access points to join.
NProbes
Specify the number of probes per channel to send when scanning.
Active Time
Specify the amount of time spent on each channel when scanning.
Home Time
Specify the amount of time spent on the home channel between scans.
Auto Provisioning (Admin only)
Service Providers use the Auto Provisioning feature to automatically configure and update their customer's IP Phones remotely and without involving the user.
If your Internet phone service provider uses Auto Provisioning, then enter settings in this menu.

Description
Resync on
If set to On, the phone resyncs with the SIP configuration file upon startup.
Reset
Resync Periodic
Specifies the time in seconds that the phone waits before sending the next resync request.
Accepted values are from 200 to 604800 seconds. You can disable this option by setting it to 0.
Random Delay
Specifies the amount of random time that will be added to the resync time period. This delay is used
to avoid simultaneous requests to a provisioning server. Accepted values are from 0 to 300.
File Address
Specifies the URL of the provisioning server. Included in front of the URL is the password that was
used to encrypt the file. For example: $M http://192.168.1.1/settings.xml where $M is a variable that
represents the phone's MAC address.
GPP
General Purpose Profile (GPP) defines global variables used by the XML configuration file.
Encryption Type
Encryption types include RC4 and DEC-CBC-256 that are used to encrypt the XML file.
